Our health and wellness depends on what we put into our bodies. There is no way around this and our bodies are relying on us to make healthy choices when it comes to what we eat and how we live our lives.
Healthy eating is about having a balance of different foods that give our body the correct nutrients to not only thrive in our physical and mental health but to protect us from disease and other illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and some cancers.
Having the right nutrients in our bodies has such a important impact on how our bodies function. Our body systems are relying on these nutrients to operate effectively, hormones can be regulated, our digestive system can function properly, our skin and hair can flourish and we can start to control our weight simply by eating well and being mindful of what we take on board.
There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to our diets, we have to listen to our own body and respond to it as its own individual amazing machine. Giving it the wrong type of fuel makes it slow down and become susceptible to illness.
Trying to make unmanageable changes doesnt work, as your Health Coach I will give you the confidence to make small changes to your diet, help you shop smarter, give you recipes and cooking tips to help you improve your meal choices for the whole family.
Once you improve your diet, you will start to love your body, and in return your body will start to love you back; giving you strength and vitality which will influence your whole health and wellness.
