I am trained to deliver ‘Healthy Eating for Peri-menopause’ after receiving my certificate from the International Institute for Nutrition and Health’
I appreciate that optimum health doesn’t come to all of us easily and this is often a very long and turbulent journey, some people make it and some people dont’ and I guess that is exactly where a Health Coach can help.
As your Health Coach I will be the support you need and will guide you . The goal will be set and delivered by you, with me by your side helping you to keep reaching for that goal even when the going gets tough.
My studies have allowed me to develop my love of healthy living and has made me even more eager to help more people to adopt this way of life. The health and wellness industry is emerging rapidly and in order to stay on top of the ever emerging health information available I am committed to continuous professional development and pursue my love of learning.
My journey in the world of heath is one of passion and love. I have been on my own journey through the years and now, hand on heart, I feel the best that I have ‘ever’ felt.
Building positive relationships is such an important part of my practice and I truly feel that everyone can thrive if they are supported by someone that truly understands the situation they are in. As a Health Coach I am committed to developing this relationship from the very beginning in order for us to work successfully together. Everyone is different and all have individual health struggles that they are trying to overcome.

I definitely feel now I'm able to do more things without getting tired too quickly. On Sunday in the garden, I managed to dig a hole and put a plant in, which I wasn't able to do even, like, a few weeks ago. Without the support I wouldn't even have considered a diet change could make such a difference. I felt like switching to a ketogenic diet gave me more energy.
I’ve also applied for flexible working for six months, keeping my work to 5 hours a day and leaving that space to increase my leisure and exercise and recovery activities. Without Claire, I wouldn't even have considered it. It’s really valuable to have another person who helps you to focus on your recovery.
The goal setting was good. It helps me feel in control. It's very clear that this is self guided and for example so one of my small goals was to find a place to go to in nature and I just haven't been able to do it because I've been unwell and I haven't pushed myself. The goal setting helped me to find alternatives, like just going into the garden, which is amazing.

I used to be fit and ate well but I now realise that my body isn’t processing carbs like it used to so cutting them down has helped my stomach and I think it has helped a bit with energy. Though I still need to sleep a lot and pace all activities but I can definitely do more than previously. I spent 5 days in London visiting my cousin and my son and I could go to theme parks and days out. It’s a relief to feel a bit better, like recovery is possible.
Speaking to Claire every week was so helpful - she really helped me realise that I am recovering and helped with managing my emotions - a couple of calls were really difficult as I was upset when I started talking about how I was feeling but Claire was so encouraging and supportive.
